Queensyze aka Jennifer Roworth is an electronic music producer, composer and DJ and is labelled as one of Canada's leading bass producers. Her love for electronic music began in her hometown Toronto at the tender age of 13. Following her penchant for the beats and bass she started going to rave parties and knew she had to learn how to DJ after she saw Mistress Barbara kill a set in Ottawa, Ontario. When Queensyze started DJ'ing she mixed with vinyl and released her mixes locally in downtown Toronto stores. She quickly grew as a staple in the Toronto scene and played at local raves and clubs then started touring and headlining across the globe. She has been sponsored by clothing companies, has run a record label, has remixed tracks for the video game "Need for Speed", composed original music for film and licensed her tracks. As a DJ she has played with bass legends such as John B, Congo Natty, Reid Speed, Dylan, Annalyze, The Panacea and many other top players over the years. She has been billed on weekly's (in Toronto at the We'ave & Audiowerks) has played at the Miami Music Conference & many festivals. Her music has jumped back and forth from drum and bass to tear out breaks and garage house, her genre bending bass creativity have been released on vinyl, CD and digitally and she also produces electrofilth under the alias Supercycle with c((o))de blue. Queensyze and Supercycle have been released on Play Me Records (LA), Substream (Sweden), East Van Digital (CA), Robot Music (CA), Phonomental Records (LA), Oscillate Recordings (CA), and In Da Jungle Recordings (CA). She now lives in Vancouver, BC where she produces music at her studio compound Robot Music and works in documentary film and digital media.
